Portfolio Manager (full-time; multiple openings) needed in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to oversee, schedule, and monitor multiple projects in financial services or other business domains, managing the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of customized business systems software applications. Maintain client relationships, meet regularly with senior management. Collaborate with superiors in conducting risk analysis and client interface, which includes budgetary and quality assurance. Select, monitor, and interface with software development teams, including managing quality control and compliance with the delivery schedule for the entire project life cycle. Large percentage of time may be spent performing consulting services at client sites in various unanticipated geographical locations throughout the U.S.

Job Specification

Must have a Master?s Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Technology, or related field, plus three (3) years of IT/engineering or consulting/business experience. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor?s Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Technology, or related field, plus seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate IT/engineering or consulting/business experience. Must have three (3) years of project, technical or functional management experience. Must have one (1) year work experience with any one of the following skill sets:

  1. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
  1. Duck Creek TransACT, SQL, and XML; OR
  1. Cloudera Hadoop, Hive, and Sybase IQ.

All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs. International travel not required. Travel not to exceed 5% / year for meetings and to complete assigned projects of varying lengths. Telecommuting may be permitted as needed.

Salary Transparency

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $202,779.00 - $230,790.00/year.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
