Hiring Retail Sales Advisor in Portland, OR, It’s a part-time retail position focused on delivering exceptional customer service.

As a part-time Retail Sales Advisor, you’ll  delivering outstanding customer service through cashier responsibilities, logistics support, stocking, restocking, down stocking, inventory control, store cleaning, and safeguarding company assets.

 

Job Details :

The Retail Sales Advisor Job in Portland is expected to rapidly establish and nurture customer relationships, becoming a reliable advisor by applying fundamental training in Technology products/services and print offerings.

A key aspect of the Sales Advisor position is showcasing enthusiasm for the brand, technology products, furniture, services, and print, as well as other offerings provided to Portland customers.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service through cashier duties, logistics support, stocking, restocking, down stocking, inventory control, and store cleaning.
  • Set up weekly ads, incorporating price changes and updating store signage as needed.
  • Adhere to sorting and stocking guidelines, complete freight processes, and organize the freight sorting area.
  • Scan, investigate, and address inventory lows and outs on a daily basis.
  • Proactively engage and acknowledge every customer, utilizing the selling program to promote the best solution and additional products or services.
  • Stay informed about planned advertisements and promotions.
  • Evaluate customer needs to determine additional offerings or services, referring customers to the Contract Sales organization when appropriate.
  • Develop personal selling skills and specialized product knowledge through provided sales and service tools.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices, and contribute to company loss prevention efforts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned from Portland Store Manager.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • No previous experience required; retail sales experience in Portland is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to establish selling relationships with customers and other employees.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access.
  • Proficiency in processing information/merchandise through POS register systems.
  • Reading, counting, and writing skills to accurately complete documentation, use training tools, and manage inventory.
  • Enjoyment of interacting with people.
