About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned AWS Connect Architect to join our Center of Excellence (COE) team. This role is ideal for a hands-on cloud architect with deep experience in AWS infrastructure, cloud-native applications, and infrastructure automation. You will lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, enforce best practices, and collaborate across DevOps, engineering, and security teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and implement complex cloud solutions using AWS services, including AWS Connect.
Lead cloud migration and infrastructure modernization projects across enterprise platforms.
Develop and enforce best practices for cloud security, cost management, and performance optimization.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments using AWS-native and third-party tools.
Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to support cloud-native applications.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
Stay current with AWS innovations and recommend adoption of relevant technologies.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Eight or more years of experience in cloud architecture with a strong focus on AWS
  • Proven experience with AWS Connect CloudFormation Service Catalog and Terraform
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing cloud migration strategies and cloud security frameworks
  • Strong background in DevOps practices and CI CD pipelines
  • Experience with performance tuning cost optimization and monitoring tools such as Grafana Prometheus and AppDynamics
  • Hands on experience with native cloud applications and event driven architectures
  • Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Financial Services experience is highly preferred

Nice to Have

  • AWS Certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer
  • Experience with HashiCorp tools Kafka or other messaging and event platforms
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services

Salary Transparency:

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $140,000 - $160,000/ yearly.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
